Elizabeth Garcia

Elizabeth Garcia (1993) is a visual artist from California. After graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Studio Art ('22) and opening an art studio for both her work and as an art instructor, she decided it was time to turn her attention to  her personal work - figurative and surrealist artwork.

Works of art that focus on portraits of women surrounded by nature. The person is reflected in flowers and  other figures,. The elaborate backgrounds represent the woman within the painting. 

"Art saved me as a child and continues to carry me throughout my life. I started with crayons and  paper. My use for art grew into admiration and it took me to reach adulthood to understand it has always been a need, a thirst to create, a means to live. 
Through my work, I show the depths of myself."
